The Miami Care Foundation, local Miami artists, and diverse media sponsors, have teamed up with Alfonso Corona from Distrikt Magazine, to develop a dynamic and life-changing program called: "Dream & CARE for Miami." 

Some of the children benefited from The Miami Care Foundation posed as photography models to create a beautiful art-book.

The result of these powerful images, will be exhibited as part of a multimedia and a never-before-seen, Art-supercharged event in Miami.

This book also contains an exclusive series of images done by Alfonso Corona that portray a never-before-seen view of Miami. (to download a PDF version of this book click here).

This project-venture with the art world of Miami, and other mediums, is mainly about creating awareness on The Miami Care Foundation’s mission as well as promoting different ways of helping our community through art and knowledge.

During the opening night event, the children, their families, and distinguished guests from the art world will gather together at an art show, featuring the photography-art, along with other works from Miami artists. 

The event will also have a pop-music performance by two-time Latin Grammy Nominee: ‘Fulano,’ along with Sacha Nairobi, and a very special live installation by 18 artists that promises to create an indescribable ‘dream-like’ reality for the 400 guests attending this night.

This event will be held on October 20th 2007 at 8.00 pm inside the Miami Children’s Museum, 980 MacArthur Causeway, Miami, FL.   RSVP only.

A silent auction will be held featuring diverse artworks. Donations and proceeds from the pictures and coffee-table book will benefit The Miami Care Foundation.

The magnificent food menu for this event was created exclusively by Chef Tom Rhyneer. Chef Rhyneer is the Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Manager of The Diplomat Country Club & Spa, a Starwood Hotel & Resorts’ Luxury Collection property.  Tom leads a talented team serving international cuisine to guests and members of this luxurious South Florida resort.
